Beginner's Hand-building Pottery Classes

Service Description

This is a 6 week set of classes aimed at total beginners on their first journey into the awesome world of pottery. You will learn a variety of hand-building techniques including pinch pots, coil and slab building. Plus decorating skills such as texture rolling, embellishments, underglaze painting, sgraffito and simple mishima. You'll finish the classes with a small collection of your own creations that have been fully glazed and fired for you, and a newfound addiction to clay :) All materials and firings included. Each class lasts for 2 hours (Note: there are no wheel throwing facilities available - hand-building only)

Cancellation Policy

I am a one woman business and teaching classes is my income. I understand that unexpected things happen sometimes and cancellations are unavoidable. I just ask that you let know as soon as possible so that I can advertise to fill the available space in the class. A full refund will be given. For course students, If you can't make one of the class dates during the course I can offer a catch up session during my weekly Thursday evening Pottery Club to make sure you get the full 6 sessions.
